Valentine's Treasure Hunt

Tuesday, February 17, 2009

The Rampton family had a yearly tradition on Valentine's day. Each child gets a number of clues that lead them around the house in search of a Valentine surprise. The Reynolds family did this every year, and now the Richards family does it as well.

The kids were hopping around as excited as can be for their hunt. It went fairly smoothly except that a certain child with a very logical mind had the hardest time figuring out clues this year.
For example-
A daily chore that must be done
It can feel like not much fun
Furry friends depend on you
Doing what you have to do.

Carter kept looking in his bed, on the bookshelf, and finally said, "Oh, I know! Our coats are furry sometimes!" Aidan looked at him and said, "Carter, go look in the dog food, we're all waiting!" He had been humoring his brother along with us.Keaton was asked where his "baba" was to which he did his "I don't know" gesture
They were very excited to find their loot.

Krazy Little Keto!!

Keaton is the funniest little guy. He loves his "baba" (pacifier) more than anything in the world. So much, that he often toodles around with 2 in his mouth at a time.

His best source of protein is dog food. We can't keep him out of it!! He eats it by the fistful and the other day Jason found him drinking water out of the dogs' dish like one of the pack.

He loves to put things on his head and walk around the house singing.

We love our funny little boy!
